Yelliyurd

Yelliyurd was a summer pasture located in the territory of the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Hamamli (Spitak) district, and present-day Lori province. It was located in the territory of the village of Gursali (Arjahovit).

The toponym was formed by combining the word “yelli” used in the sense of “windy, a windy place” and the word “yurd” used in the sense of “a place of residence”.
