Komurdagh

Komurdagh is a mountain range in the Lesser Caucasus. It is located on the border of the former Gugark and Akhta (Hrazdan) districts of present-day Armenia. Its height is 2113 m.

The toponym was coined on the basis of the word “komur” used in the sense of “a narrow, ravine, rugged place at the top of a mountain” in Old Turkic.
