Guzeykab is a mountain in the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gorus district, and currently in the Syunik province.
The toponym was coined by combining the word “Guzey” used in the sense of “north, a place where the sun does not fall” and the word “kab” used in the sense of “a pass, bay” in Old Turkic. It means “a pass in the north, where the sun does not set.”
