Gurdgulag is a river in the Sharur-Daralayaz uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Keshishkend (Yeghegnadzor) district, and currently in the Vayots Dzor province.

The hydronym was coined on the basis of the Turkic ethnonym “Gurd”.
