Guney is a mountain in the Kars uezd of the Kars governorate, later in the former Amasiya (Aghbaba) district, and currently in the Shirak province. It is located to the northwest of Chivinli (Yeghnajur) village. Its height is 2463 m.

The toponym was coined from the word “guney” used in the sense of “south, a sunny place”.
