Goshabulag was a summer pasture located in the territory of the Lori Pambak uezd of the Tiflis governorate, later in the former Boyuk Garakilsa (Kirovakan, Gugark) district, in the territory of the village of Hallavar of the present Lori province.

The toponym was formed from the words “gosha” and “bulag”.
