Garagaya is a mountain in the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gafan district, and currently in the Syunik province. It was marked on the five-verst map of the Caucasus.

The toponym was coined from the words “gara” used in the sense of “tall, high” and the word “gaya” used in the sense of “a mountain”.
