Gabag Guney is a plateau in the Alexandropol uezd of the Iravan governorate, later in the former Hamamli (Spitak) district, and currently in the Lori province. It is located in the village of Saral (Nor Khachakap) in the province.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “gabag” used in the sense of “front side, forward” in Azerbaijani and the word “guney” used in the sense of “the sunny side of the mountain”.
