Emirkhan was a summer pasture located in the territory of the Lori Pambak uezd of the Tiflis governorate, later in the former Boyuk Garakilsa (Kirovakan, Gugark) district, and present-day Lori province. It is located in the territory of the village of Hallavar.

The toponym is formed on the basis of a personal name.
