Bughutlu is a mountain in the Echmiadzin uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Uchkilsa (Echmiadzin, Vagharshapat) district, and currently in the Armavir province. It was renamed “Arteni”.

The toponym was coined on the basis of the word “bughut” used to mean in Turkic “a mountain deer”.
