Bostantala

Bostantala was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Karvansara (Ijevan) district, in the territory of the Yukhari Aghdan of the present Tavush province.

The place was inhabited by 12 Azerbaijanis in 1926. It was dissolved in the 1930s.

The toponym was coined by combining the Turkic ethnonym “Bostan” and the word “tala” used in the sense of “a clearing in the woods”.
