Baydarchay is a river flowing through the village of Mollagishlag in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Boyuk Garakilsa (Kirovakan, Gugark) district, and currently in the Lori province.

The hydronym was coined on the basis of the Turkic ethnonym “Baytar/Baydar”.
