Baldirghanli

Baldirghanli was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Shamshaddin (Berd) district, and present-day Tavush province. It was dissolved in 1930.

The toponym was coined by adding the Azerbaijani suffix “-lı” to the plant name “baldirghan” (heracleum, hogweed).
