Armudlu

Armudlu was a village in the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, in the former Gafan [Qafan] district, and currently in the Syunik province.

The toponym was coined by adding the Azerbaijani suffix “-lu” to the fruit name “armud”. At present, the village is in ruins.
