Alapapag is a mountain in the Novo-Bayazid uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Akhta (Hrazdan) district, and currently in the Kotayk province. It is located in the basin of Lake Goycha (Sevan), on the upper bank of the Zangi River.
The toponym was coined on the basis of the Turkic tribal name “Alapapag”.
