Aghsu is a river in the Zangazur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gafan district, and currently in the Syunik province.

The name was coined by combining the words “agh” meaning “fresh, drinkable” and “su” meaning “a river”.
