Aghsu was a village in the territory of the Sharur-Daralayaz uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Keshishkend (Yeghegnadzor) district, and present-day Vayots Dzor province.
The village was inhabited by 41 Azerbaijanis in 1829 and 71 Azerbaijanis in 1879. The village was abolished in the late 20th century. At present, the village is in ruins.
The toponym was coined from the words “agh” meaning “fresh, drinkable” and “su” meaning “a river” in Old Turkic.
