Aghdagh

Aghdagh is a mountain with a height of 3560 in the Goycha area of the Iravan khanate, later in the former Kavar (Kamo) district, and present-day Gegharkunik province.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “agh”, which means “high” in the Old Azerbaijani language, and the word “dagh”. Its present name is “Spitakasar”.
