Garaguney is a mountain in the Novo-Bayazid uezd of the Iravan governorate, later in the former Chambarak (Krasnoselsk) district, and currently in the Gegharkunik province. It is located to the northeast of Tokhluja village.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “gara” used in the sense of “big” and the word “guney” used in the sense of “the sunny side of a mountain, south”.
