Chalaghanyuvasi is a mountain in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Amasiya (Aghbaba) district, in the territory of the Chakhmag (Kamkhut) village of the present Shirak province.

It is a zootoponym coined on the basis of the bird’s name “çalağan” (a hawk).
