Bozyokhush

Bozyokhush is a mountain pass in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Gizilgoch (Gukasyan) district, and currently in the Shirak province. It was marked on the five-verst map of the Caucasus.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “boz” used to mean “grassless, naked” and the word “yoxush” used to mean “an upward-sloping road”.
