Ayibasan is a mountain in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Boyuk Garakilsa (Kirovakan, Gugark) district, in the territory of Hamzachiman village in the present Lori province. It was marked on the five-verst map of the Caucasus.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “ayı” (a bear) and the participle “basan” (pushed).
