Aghdagh

Aghdagh is a mountain in the Sharur Daralayaz uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Kesishkend (Yeghegnadzor) district, and currently in the Vayots Dzor province. It is located to the northeast of the Malikshah (Malishka) village. Its height is 1897 m.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “agh” which means “high” in Old Turkic and the word “dagh”.
