Zod is a river in the Novo-Bayazid uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Basarkechar (Vardenis) district, and currently in the Gegharkunik province.

The hydronym reflects the name of the Turkic tribe “Sadak”. At present, it is renamed “Sotk”.
