Tozlug

Tozlug was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Borchali uezd of the Tiflis governorate, later in the former Jalaloghlu (Stepanavan) district, and present-day Lori province.

The pasture was inhabited by four Azerbaijanis in 1897. It was dissolved in the early 20th century.

The toponym was coined by adding the suffix “-luq” to the word “toz” used in the sense of “a poplar tree”.
