Terschay was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, near the town of Dilijan.
The village was inhabited by 10 Azerbaijanis, 18 Armenians, four Russians in 1897. It was dissolved in the early 20th century.
Due to the fact that it was built on the banks of the Tersa River , the settlement was named “Ters Chay winter pasture”.
