Sarigaya is a mountain in the Novo-Bayaid uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Akhta (Hrazdan) district, and currently in the Kotayk province. It is located to the northwest of the Ulashik village.
The toponym is formed by combining the word “sari” used in the sense of “big” in Turkic and the word “gaya” used in the sense of “a mountain”.
