Sal Daghi

Sal Daghi was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Shamshaddin (Berd) district, and present-day Tavush province.

The toponym was coined by adding the word “dagh” to the Turkic ethnonym “Sal” to denote “a winter pasture near Sal Mountain”.
