Maralgayasi is a mountain in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Amasiya (Aghbaba) district, in the territory of the Ellaroghlu (Lorasar) village of the present Shirak province.

The toponym is formed on the basis of the oronym used in the sense of “a mountain, rock” and the animal name “maral” (deer).
