Khanmedin was a summer pasture located in the territory of the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Hamamli (Spitak) district, and present-day Lori province. It is located to the south of the village of Saral (Nor Khachakap) in the province.

The toponym was formed on the basis of the personal name “Khanmed”.
