Khalajchay is a river in the Zangazur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gafan district, and currently in the Syunik province. It flows through the village of Khalaj (Ejanan).

The hydronym was coined on the basis of the Turkic ethnonym “Khalaj”.
