Jeyranli was a village in the Sharur-Daralayaz uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Pashali (Azizbeyov, Vayk) district, and present-day Vayots Dzor province. It was located near the Muradtepesi River, the right affluent of the Arpachay. The name of the village was marked on the five-verst map of the Caucasus.
The village was inhabited by 91 Azerbaijanis in 1873, 84 in 1886, 92 in 1897, 123 in 1904, 135 in 1914 and 150 Azerbaijanis in 1916. The Azerbaijanis were attacked, massacred or expelled by Armenian armed units in 1918. The village was abolished in 1920. At present, the village is in ruins.
The toponym was coined by adding the suffix “-li” to the animal name “jeyran” in Azerbaijani.
