Ikinji Aliyanli was a village in the territory of the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gorus district, and currently in the Syunik province. The village was inhabited by 137 Azerbaijanis in 1886. The Azerbaijanis were attacked, massacred or expelled from the village by Armenian armed formations in 1918. The village was abolished in 1920. At present, it lies in ruins.
The toponym was coined on the basis of the word “ikinji” which is a distinctive feature in Azerbaijani toponymy and the ethnonym “Aliyanli”, one of the Turkic Kangarli tribes.
