Gurd is a mountain in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Hamamli (Spitak) district, and currently in the Lori province. It is located to the east of Gursali (Arjahovit) village.

The toponym was formed on the basis of the name of an animal “gurd” (a wolf).
