Gunesh was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Borchali uezd of the Tiflis governorate, later in the former Barana (Noyemberyan) district, and present-day Tavush province. It is located near the Lambali (Bagratashen) village, between the villages of Lambali and Korpulu (Dzorakap).

The pasture was inhabited by eight Azerbaijanis in 1926. It was dissolved in 1930.

The toponym was coined on the basis of the Turkic tribal name “Gunesh”.
