Goshabulag was a village in the territory of the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Garakilsa (Sisian) district, and present-day Syunik province. It was located 22-24 km to the northwest of the village of Garakilsa, near the village of Bazarchay and on the right side of the Bazarchay River. The village was abolished in the early 20th century. At present, it lies in ruins.
The toponym was coined by combining the words “gosha” meaning “a pair, next to” and “bulag”.
