Gighichay is a river in the Zangazur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gafan district, and currently in the Syunik province. The river rises in Gazangol and joins the Okhchu River near the village of Zeyva.
The hydronym reflects the Turkic ethnonym “Gighi (Kighi).
