Gedikdagh

Gedikdagh is a mountain in the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Sisian district, and currently in the Syunik province. It is located on the border of the Sisian district and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the territory of Azerbaijan. Its height is 2705 m.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “gedik” used in the sense of “a mountain pass” in Azerbaijani and the word “dagh”.
