Gazandushen

Gazandushen was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, in the Chambarak (Krasnoselsk) district, in the territory between the Chaykend (Dprabak) village of the present Gegharkunik province and the town of Dilijan.

The pasture was inhabited by seven Azerbaijanis in 1926. It was dissolved in the 1930s.

The toponym was formed by adding the participle “dushen” to the Turkic ethnonym “Gazan”.
