Garasu was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, and present-day Tavush province. It was located near the town of Dilijan and was subordinated to the town.
The pasture was inhabited by 13 Azerbaijanis in 1926. It was disoolved in the 1930s.
The toponym consists of the word “gara” used in the sense of “heavy, poor quality, unfit for drinking” and the hydronym “su” (water).
