Ganshardagh

Ganshardagh is a mountain in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Hamamli (Spitak) district, and currently in the Lori province. It is located in the territory of the village of Gursali (Arjahovit).

The toponym was coined by combining the word “ganshar” used in the sense of “front” in the dialects of the western group of the Azerbaijani language and the word “dagh” (a mountain).
