Gabagtepe is a mountain in the Alexandropol uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Talin district, and currently in the Aragatsotn province.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “gabag” used in the sense of “front side, forward” in the Azerbaijani language and the word “tepe” (hill).
