Eyrije

Eyrije was a winter pasture located in the territory of the Novo-Bayazid uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Chambarak (Krasnoselsk) district, and currently in the Gegharkunik province. It is located near the village of Tokhluja (Drakhtik), on the border with the village of Aghbulag (Aghberk). After 1960 a sheep husbandry of the village of Tokhluca was located there.

The toponym was coined on the basis of the word “eyrije” used in the sense of “slightly crooked” in Azerbaijani.
