Dallakli

Dallakli was a village in the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gafan district, and currently in the Syunik province. The village was located 2 km to the west of the village of Tsav.

The village was inhabited by 118 Azerbaijanis in 1886, 336 in 1905, and 276 Azerbaijanis in 1914. The Azerbaijanis were attacked, massacred or ousted from the village by Armenian armed units in 1918. Later, the village was abolished. At present, it lies in ruins.

The name of the village was coined from the multigenerational family name “Dallakli”.
