Chemendaghi is a mountain in the Zangazur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gafan district, and currently in the Syunik province.

The toponym was coined by combining the word “chemen” used to mean “a meadow” in Azerbaijani and the word “dagh” used in the sense of “a high place of rock and stone”.
