Bayramali Gishlaghi was a village in the territory of the Echmiadzin uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Ashtarak district, and present-day Aragatsotn province. It was located to the south of Alagoz Mountain. The name of the village was noted as “Bayramali,” “the village of Bayramali” in Armenian sources.
The village was inhabited only by 53 Azerbaijanis in 1873, 87 in 1886, 132 in 1897, 82 in 1908, and 100 Azerbaijanis and Muslim Kurds in 1916. The Azerbaijanis were attacked, massacred or ousted from the village by Armenian armed formations in 1918. In late 1920s, the village was abolished. At present, the village is in ruins.
The toponym was coined by combining the personal name “Bayramali” and the word “qishlaq” meaning “a settlement, a village”.
