Bakar was a village in the territory of the Gazakh uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Chambarak (Krasnoselsk) district, and present-day Gegharkunik province. It was located 2 km to the southwest of the village of Ashaghi Chambarak. At present, the village is in ruins. The dilapidated walls of houses and the cemetery still remain there.
