Baharli was a village in the territory of the Zangezur uezd of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) governorate, later in the former Gafan district, and present-day Syunik province. It was located on the right bank of the Basut River.
The village was inhabited by 432 Azerbaijanis in 1886 and 455 Azerbaijanis in 1907. The Azerbaijanis were massacred or ousted from the village by Armenian armed units in 1918. Later, the village was abolished. There was also another village of Baharli in the Gafan district.
The toponym was coined on the basis of the Turkic ethnonym “Baharli” which was located in Zangezur.
