Atgoch

Atgoch was a village in territory of the Novo-Bayazid uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Garanlig (Martuni) district, and present-day Gegharkunik province. The village was abolished in the early 20th century.

The toponym was coined from the combination of the words “at”, meaning “name” in Turkic and “koch/kosh” meaning “a camp”.
