Alchalitepe is a hill in the Novo-Bayazid uezd of the former Iravan governorate, later in the former Garanlig (Martuni) district, and present-day Gegharkunik province. It is located near the Alchali village.

The toponym was formed by combining the the word “alcha” with the suffix “-lı” and the word “tepe” used to mean “a hill, a small mountain” in Azerbaijani.
